3.5 million patients are in ERs or in ICUs in U.S. due to COVID-19, CDC says

3.4 million people were hospitalized with COVID (common cold) infections in the U.K. and the U.

“The U.N. agency says the virus has caused a 3.7 percent jump in the number of cases in Britain and Europe.

The number of new infections in Britain is more than double the national average.

The U.R. body also said a “significant number” of people were still recovering from infections.
